Mark and I enjoyed a relaxing drive to Copper Harbor on Saturday. We took the Brockway Mountain Drive all the way to the top and the view of the fall colors was B-E-A-U-tiful!
We had a delicious lunch at the Mariner North served by a very friendly waitress and surrounded by other "leaf-lookers" as the guy sitting next to us referred to the fall color tourists.
The view from Brockway Mountain of course made me think of my Dad and how much he loved the top of the mountain. I repeated the story of his jumping from one concrete block barrior to another....I could almost hear my Mom screaming "Billy get down from there!!"
The fall leaves, all the trees, the land that goes on and on for what seems like forever...makes me appreciate living in an "untouched" part of the world.
Feeling the crisp fall air, wearing sweaters, and cuddling closer! Say yes to fall!
Love, Jill
