Mark's new little girl....Drowsy!

Mark loves babies so much...he is especially fond of Drowsy. Sophie and I like to sneak her into bed with him so that when he wakes up he gets to see her happy little face smiling at him.
He loves her and is so happy she is in his life!
Just ask him!

Sophie is very crafty!

Aunty Sandra gave Sophie this foam art set...like little foam beads that you press together into shapes...not messy at all!
Sophie enjoyed making shapes and little characters like her little penguin!

We enjoy having craft time!
I'm trying to teach Sophie how to knit..maybe she could knit you a nice sweater! What's your favorite color?

Don't worry....Be HAPPY!

I found this picture online and it made me smile!
If you need a reason to smile and can't find one...look at this picture!

Fall is definetly in the air...it's getting pretty darn cold outside. Snow is mentioned here and there during weather reports but we have yet to see a flake.
I'm one of those weird ones who is looking forward to it snowing...maybe this winter we will do more fun things outside like ski, snowboard, go sledding, snowshoeing and more!

The other night I packed away our summer clothes but I still have to unpack my sweaters!

Remember...smile! It makes people wonder what you are thinking!
Much love!

2008 Fall Color Tour

Mark and I enjoyed a relaxing drive to Copper Harbor on Saturday. We took the Brockway Mountain Drive all the way to the top and the view of the fall colors was B-E-A-U-tiful!

We had a delicious lunch at the Mariner North served by a very friendly waitress and surrounded by other "leaf-lookers" as the guy sitting next to us referred to the fall color tourists.

The view from Brockway Mountain of course made me think of my Dad and how much he loved the top of the mountain. I repeated the story of his jumping from one concrete block barrior to another....I could almost hear my Mom screaming "Billy get down from there!!"

The fall leaves, all the trees, the land that goes on and on for what seems like forever...makes me appreciate living in an "untouched" part of the world.

Feeling the crisp fall air, wearing sweaters, and cuddling closer! Say yes to fall!

Love, Jill

Trevor's Got Game!

Trevor says "show me the money!"
What's that you say?
"I said show me the money!!"

#83 has some moves and he knows how to use
them!

First year of football for Trevor and his friends. These young men have so
much to learn, so many more years to learn it all in!

Sophie wants to be the team mascot...hmm...what's the
mascot of a lake?
If you think of something, please let me
know!

Go LAKES!!

We LOVE babies!

Yeah!

My sister Jennifer and her husband Mike had the most adorable little boy on September 20th, at 9:39 PM (Green Bay time). He was 8 lbs. 12 oz. of pure cuteness!

We didn't want to leave after we had a chance to hold him in our arms. I leaned down and took a big whiff of his sweet smelling hair.

We can't wait to see the little guy in another couple of weeks when the happy new parents bring little Michael JR. to meet his Grandmother Dorothy!

Babies are the best! They make us remember what's important in life...Smiles, giggles, and sweet smelling hair!

I love technology!

Wow! A place to leave messages and photos for friends and family to randomly read and leave comments on...

I am just starting our family "blogspot" so give me a chance to get comfortable with my surroundings! Soon I will be filling the information highway with all sorts of interesting tid-bits!

Please feel free to visit and comment whenever you'd like!

We are not the only goofy family out there!!

Much love!
